NFPK vyhlásil projekt WANTED

The Anticorruption Endowment will award one million CZK to persons exposing corruption cases with major economic implications or especially abominable corrupt practices. Whistleblowers must be able to file criminal complaints leading to the conviction of perpetrators of corrupt practices.

The Anticorruption Endowment regards this reward as a form of encouragement of courageous and honest people in this country. The reward will be bestowed on the whistleblower one day after the court verdict takes legal effect. “It is normal for politicians to see to it that people do not steal. But it is one-horse town mentality here. Therefore we have to keep watch on politicians so they don’t steal from us,” notes Jan Kraus, member of the Board of Directors of the Anticorruption Endowment.

The project Wanted was conceived without prejudice to criminal complaints filed in the past; but it does concern complaints filed after this day and date.
