Fondyeu.eu – unikátní aplikace pro dohledání projektů a příjemců evropských dotací

The association Naši politici o.s. in conjunction with the Anticorruption Endowment (NFPK) introduced today’s press conference to the new analytical website http://fondyeu.eu.

The functionality of this online project was illustrated on specific examples of nontransparent use of financial means provided by European subsidy funds. The new online application, Fondyeu.eu, enables simple search for and interconnecting detailed information concerning various recipients of EU subsidies, associated projects, public contracts, visualized economic and personal bonds, as well as interconnections between figures active on the political stage.

Select a keyword to simply look up:

• Recipients of European subsidies – natural person / company
• How much subsidy a person or company has received in total
• Further subsidies granted to mutually related entities
• Concrete projects – size of subsidy, project progress, subsidy program, how much has been paid to date
• Public contracts funded by the EU – price, type of tender, contractors, order description

The application visualizes all  economic links of the subsidy receiver and his potential association with political figures, including a survey of leading subsidy recipients and costliest projects financed from European funds.

“The online project Fondy.eu will significantly improve the transparency of information about recipients of EU subsidies and associated public contracts, as well as expose cases of controversial projects funded by European subsidies,” said Jiří Fiala from the association ze sdružení Naši politici o.s.

Petr Soukenka, Director of the Anticorruption Endowment (NFPK), declared: “Strangely, this database is financed by a private endowment. The costs are not too high. However, such transparent databases should be created by the State so as to prevent opaque, often illegal collection of funds from the European Union.”
