Karel Janeček

In 1995 he stood at the cradle of RSJ, continuing as the chairman of its board. In 2010 he established the Karel Janeček Foundation in support of Science and Research, visit. From 2004 to 2005 he was a science and research fellow at the Austrian Academy of Science. Since 2007 he has been lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague. He specializes in optimal management in financial mathematics.

He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematical Science at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 2004. In 1970 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague, majoring in theory of probability and mathematical statistics. He is an alumnus of Bradley University, Peoria, U.S.A. where he received his degree of MBA in Finance.
